A record in baseball was tied yesterday, while an owner in two major sports is allegedly throwing his hat in the ring for a third.

In baseball, yesterday the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Boston Red Sox 9 to 3, making their record 13 wins and zero losses. That’s a tie to the record for the best start to a regular season.

Elsewhere in sports, ESPN reported yesterday that current NBA and NHL owner Josh Harris agreed to purchase the NFL’s Washington Commanders.

He’s buying the team from the controversial Snyder family for a record amount of $6 billion dollars.
