During yesterday’s offseason press conference, Detroit Lions general manager, Brad Holmes, sent a powerful message defending biological females in sports.
The Lions’ executive wore a black sweatshirt emblazoned with the team logo and a statement which read, “I support women and girls in sports.”
Holmes was praised on social media by many, including female sports activist and former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines.
This comes as the ideological battle surrounding the fairness of female-identifying men competing against biological women continues to heat up.
Meanwhile on the field, offseason expectations are high for Brad Holmes and the Lions, who are coming off their first winning season since 2017.
