Christians around the world are celebrating the release of a missionary pilot from a Mozambique prison. Ryan Koher and his two partners were freed yesterday after four months behind bars.

His plane’s mission was to resupply an orphanage in the northern part of the country. Police, however, believed the supplies were meant for insurgents. They arrested the men for suspected terrorism.

Meanwhile they must remain in the country until all legal proceedings are over. But the prison release is an answer to prayer.

The missionary and his wife have been a strong example of faith during distress.

He continued to read his Bible and share the Gospel with others during his time in prison – impressing other prisoners and guards with his strength.

The Missionary Aviation Fellowship says Koher has spoken with his wife and two sons several time since his release.
