Recent data indicates that the Biden administration has been egregiously underreporting the number of illegal aliens released into the interior of the United States without any digital tracking.

An exclusive report by the Daily Caller indicates that the statistics given by the current administration about the number of illegal immigrants released into the interior have been underreported by about 18,000%.

The Daily Caller cited exclusively obtained internal documents that were distributed to participants in a government event about ICE’s “Alternatives to Detention” program, which was put in place in 2004 to monitor illegal aliens released into the U.S. interior.

ICE informed the audience at the event that 49,459 illegal aliens were not being tracked by any device, as of Nov. 14, contrary to the 266 reported on its website as of Nov. 19.

The figure sent to the program attendees is over 18,000% more than the figure ICE has on its website. ICE didn’t respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.

“The Biden administration is hostile to transparency, and when it does publish data, it refuses to respond to media inquiries regarding significant discrepancies like this,” a former ICE official with knowledge of the Alternatives to Detention program told the Daily Caller, confirming the figure was underreported. “Likely, ICE communication staffers are having a lot of difficulty defending this administration’s chaotic and lawless policies.”

The number indicated to program participants is more than 18,000% higher than the amount listed on ICE’s website.

Recently, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security attempted to carry out a 100-day moratorium on deportations upon entering office, but it was struck down by a federal judge.

Late in October, it was estimated in a Federation for American Immigration Report (FAIR) that around 5.5 million illegal immigrants have been encountered by Customers and Border Protection since President Joe Biden took office.

“Some 2.7 million migrants — those who illegally entered or were otherwise inadmissible at a port of entry — were encountered at our borders in FY 2022, bringing the total under President Biden to a whopping 5.5 million,” FAIR’s report revealed.

According to the organization’s research, 2.4 million illegal immigrants either entered our nation undetected or were released here. Estimates place the number higher than the populations of 15 states combined, including Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Vermont, Delaware, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

In the fiscal year 2022, border patrol agents came into contact with 98 known or suspected terrorists, according to the FAIR study. The figure excludes terrorists who might be concealed among the 1.1 million illegal aliens who entered the nation while eluding detection.

The number represents a sharp increase from recent years. In 2021, there were just 15 known or suspected terrorists, while in 2020, there were only three. There were no known or suspected terrorists found in 2019.

The year 2022 was the bloodiest on record for migrant deaths with 856 deaths on the southern border.

FAIR also notes that during two months of the Biden administration, more fentanyl was been transported than during the whole 2019 fiscal year under President Trump. More than 414 million fatal doses of fentanyl were seized in one month alone. During the fiscal year of 2022, over a billion fatal doses of fentanyl were reportedly discovered at the border.

FAIR’s President Dan Stein spoke to the issue saying, “These record-breaking numbers are a direct consequence of open-borders policies implemented by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the person who appointed him, President Joe Biden.”

Stein went on to say, “This deliberate sabotage of our nation’s immigration laws demands that the president remove Mayorkas from his position immediately. Otherwise, the impeachment of his disgraced cabinet member is sure to be one of the first orders of business in the next Congress.”
