A majority of American voters support Republican investigations into President Joe Biden’s family’s overseas business dealings, according to a new poll.

A November 28 poll by Rasmussen shows 62% of voters approve of an investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged influence peddling while his father was vice president, with 42% saying they strongly approve. Meanwhile, 34% disapprove of such an investigation, with 23% strongly disapproving.

The same survey found 61% of voters believe it’s likely “Joe Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from his son Hunter’s overseas business deals including at least one involving a company in mainland China.”

Democrats are far less likely to support an investigation into the Biden family. Only 37% of Democrats approve of the potential investigation, while 86% of Republicans and 63% of independents support it.

In mid-November, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) and the Republican House Oversight Committee announced it was launching an investigation into Joe Biden and his involvement with his family’s foreign business dealings to determine if the president “is compromised or swayed by foreign dollars.”

“The Bidens flourished and became millionaires by simply offering access to the family. Among the dozens of shell companies the Bidens set up, there were millions of dollars of wire transfers, flights on Air Force II to conduct personal business, and meetings with heads of state, all while Joe Biden was aware of what was happening. All the while, he turned a blind eye,” Comer alleged.

This comes as new Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk suggested he would release the internal discussions concerning the censorship of the New York Post piece on Hunter Biden prior to the 2020 election.
