President Biden, along with other world leaders, has signed onto a G20 Bali Leaders’ Declaration that will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all international travel.
The Declaration will establish “trusted global digital health networks” to track and monitor vaccine data on private citizens to “facilitate” international travel.
“We support the WHO mRNA Vaccine Technology Transfer hub as well as all as the spokes in all regions of the world with the objective of sharing technology and technical know-how on voluntary and mutually agreed terms,” the White House said in a statement on the Bali Declaration.
“We acknowledge the importance of shared technical standards and verification methods, under the framework of the IHR (2005), to facilitate seamless international travel, interoperability, and recognizing digital solutions and non-digital solutions, including proof of vaccinations,” the statement continued.
In a separate statement, G20 leaders affirmed their collective commitment to “move towards interoperability of systems including mechanisms that validate proof of vaccination…”
In August of 2021, The WHO issued an 80-page document titled “Digital documentation of COVID-19 certificates: vaccination status: technical specifications and implementation guidance … for countries and implementing partners on the technical requirements for developing digital information systems for issuing standards-based interoperable digital certificates for COVID-19 vaccination status, and considerations for implementation of such systems, for the purposes of continuity of care, and proof of vaccination.” The guidance states that “a health pass based solely on individual vaccination status may increase the risk of disease spread.”
World Economic Forum chair Klaus Schwab delivered a B20 keynote address in which the “Great Reset” architect said, “What we have to confront is a deep, systemic and structural re-structuring of our world. And this will take some time. And the world will look differently after we have gone through this transition process.”
In his book titled “COVID-19: The Great Reset,” Schwab noted that pandemic lockdowns and the resulting socio-economic hardships had created a unique “opportunity” to establish a “new world order.”
The phrase and its sentiment may sound familiar to some. When asked in June 2022 about what the Biden administration planned to do about record-high gas prices, U.S. National Economic Council director Brian Deese told CNN: “This is about the future of the liberal world order, and we have to stand firm.”
During a November B20 Summit, Indonesia Minister of Health Budi Sadikin proposed creating “a digital certificate acknowledged by WHO” to regulate international travel.”
“If you have been vaccinated or tested properly, you can move around so for the next pandemic instead of stopping the movement of people 100% and [stopping] the economy globally, you can still provide some movement of the people,” he said.
The notion of international vaccine passports carries with it the unprecedented potential to surveil citizens “under the guise of public health” safety, according to a February 2022 The Conversation report that was also published by Reuters.
The article sounded the alarm that “the potential for mass surveillance, and the threat to individual security is real.”
“While details on vaccine passports may vary in different jurisdictions, we should be asking what kind of data is being collected. How and where will the data be stored? How will data be encrypted and protected from misuse or crime?” the article asks.
Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver echoed these concerns in response to the Bali Declaration.
“Digital health or vaccine passports along with tracking and tracing apps present a serious threat to freedom,” he told Just the News.
Vaccine passports and tracking apps are about collecting data and control. The vaccine passport is being promoted worldwide to limit a person’s ability to leave home, work, shop, dine, travel, attend a public event, or even worship. COVID is being used to advance this dangerous threat to freedom. We must never accept vaccine passports or tracking apps as the new normal. The implications for freedom are significant.”
Biden signed the Bali declaration a year and a half after White House COVID-19 Response Team leader Jeff Zients said that the U.S. had no intention of ever implementing such a policy.
“Let me be clear that the government is not now, nor will we be supporting a system that requires Americans to carry a credential. There’ll be no federal vaccination database, no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential,” he declared at an April 5, 2022 White House briefing.
On July 14, 2022, the CDC implemented a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all non-U.S. citizens specifying that “Some categories of noncitizen, nonimmigrants are excepted from this requirement.”
In other words, as Just the News pointed out, “The policy doesn’t apply to the millions who’ve illegally entered the U.S. from over 150 countries through the southern border since Biden’s been in office.”
