Actress and leftist “activist” Alyssa Milano is no stranger to conservative commentators taking verbal swings at her. She really set it on the tee for them this time, though.
Milano took to Twitter on Saturday to grandstand against the social media giant and those who support its new CEO Elon Musk.
“I gave back my Tesla. I bought the VW ev [electric vehicle]. I love it,” Milano tweeted. “I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model.”

Milano seemed to miss the irony of her comments about “hate and white supremacy” in light of her new car of choice. Volkswagen, or VW, was founded in 1937 by the German government, under the control of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist (Nazi) Party.
Numerous commentators took to Twitter to mock Milano’s self-aggrandizing miscue. U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) gave Milano a “really quick history lesson.”

Conservative comedians the Hodge Twins jabbed at Milano, as well, drawing approval from Musk.
🤣💯

Despite her indignation toward Twitter advertisers, Milano has made no move to stop using the platform herself. She continued to post tweets over the weekend and on Monday.
