Florida’s Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo issued a warning and new guidance last week against men under the age of 40 receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines due to a massive increase in cardiac-related deaths.

Ladapo’s guidance was based on a self-controlled case series analysis conducted by the Florida State Department of Health, which found that men between the ages 18-39 experienced an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death within 28 days of receiving an mRNA vaccination.

The press release on the department’s website said that “With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group.” The analysis also clearly states that “non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks.”

According to Ladapo, the state of Florida “will not be silent on the truth.” The State Surgeon General now recommends against vaccinating men aged 18 to 39 with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. He issued a warning to those with preexisting cardiac conditions, saying these individuals should take particular caution when making this decision.

“Studying the safety and efficacy of any medications, including vaccines, is an important component of public health,” Ladapo said. “Far less attention has been paid to safety and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed — these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians.”

While this isn’t novel information, it is still being met with harsh criticism, with many “experts” claiming that the risk of heart damage from vaccination is rare.

Monday morning, Ladapo responded in a lengthy Twitter thread to many of the critiques of his announcement.

Last year, Nordic countries halted the use of Moderna’s mRNA vaccines for men under the age of 30 and the CDC has admitted that young men face an increased risk of myocarditis. However, the agency and U.S. experts have consistently reinforced that this risk is rare and the benefits of vaccination outweigh the potential risk.

After Ladapo tweeted the results of the analysis and promoted the state’s new guidance on COVID-19 vaccination, Twitter removed the tweet for violating its policy on “misleading information.”

In its post that blocked Ladapo’s tweet, Twitter stated that “Our current misleading information policies cover: synthetic and manipulated media, COVID-19, and civic integrity,” adding that, “If we determine a Tweet contains misleading or disputed information per our policies that could lead to harm, we may add a label to the content to provide context and additional information.”

The tweet was later restored. However, big tech companies are notorious for censoring science that doesn’t fit the current political or scientific dogma. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the goal has been to force compliance through social and political pressure and stifle healthy debate and access to research.

What is more concerning is that Big Tech platforms — such as Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter — pharmaceutical companies, and the federal government have conspired in an attempt to suppress any information that doesn’t reflect their agenda, slapping a warning or label on it and calling it “misinformation” or “disinformation,” or outright deleting it, as reported last month by FISM News.

While Florida may be changing their recommendations, the CDC continues to recommend vaccination for all individuals aged six months and older.
