For the eighth straight year, fast food chain Chick-fil-A has been voted as “America’s favorite restaurant” in a run of dominance achieved by convenient locations, quality service, a family-friendly atmosphere, affordable prices, and delicious food.

The Christian-owned food giant scored an 83 on the customer satisfaction rating as part of the American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), which surveyed over 20,000 people in 2021 and 2022. Chick-fil-A fell only two points behind Trader Joe’s for the nationwide consumer lead, tied for second with Clorox.

A Chick-fil-A representative said, “We are honored by the results of this survey, and we are grateful to our customers for choosing Chick-fil-A — it’s truly our pleasure to serve them. More than 170,000 people represent Chick-fil-A in 2,700 restaurants. This recognition is acknowledgment of the care they put into serving great food with gracious hospitality. Every day, our restaurant Team Members go above and beyond each day to create a friendly, welcoming place to visit.”

Sandwich restaurant Jimmy John’s took second place in the restaurant category with a score of 79. One surprise was fast-food giant McDonald’s, which came in lowest in the fast-food group at 68.
