The game was highlighted by two young phenom quarterbacks, Joe Burrow, the #1 draft pick of the 2020 draft, and Trevor Lawrence, the #1 pick in this year’s draft. Burrow had the upper hand in this contest with an impressive stat-line: 25-32 completions, 348 passing yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
Week 4 action will resume on Sunday highlighted by Tampa Bay QB Tom Brady returning to New England to face Bill Belichik and the Patriots for the first time since leaving the team. Brady spent 20 years under Belichik in New England and won the franchise six Super Bowl titles. In their first year apart, Brady and Belichik went opposite directions. Belichik struggled as the Patriots finished 7-9, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2008, while Brady won his record-setting seventh Super Bowl title with Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers and Patriots face off in the Sunday night prime time slot, at 8:25 EST in Foxborough, MA.
