Felix is 35-years-old and is now considered the single greatest American runner of all time. She began her career by posting incredible times in the shorter distances of 100 and 200 meters. As she got older she slowly transitioned to the longer distance runs like the 400 meters, but remained a top competitor in the world for the shorter sprints. Felix has also won the Jesse Owens Award five times – the only person to win that often. This award denotes the Athlete of the Year according to USA Track & Field.
