The state of Connecticut has made major strides on the vaccine front; becoming the first state to have more than 70% of its adult population receive at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Friday, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont celebrated the news on Twitter saying that his state is two months ahead of President Joe Biden’s goal of having 70% of adults in the U.S. receive one shot by July 4th.
