President Joe Biden masqueraded as a health expert on Tuesday with one of the more obvious statements he’s made since entering the Oval Office.  The President announced that, according to the CDC, fully vaccinated individuals can now safely go outdoors without wearing a mask.  As if it was not already safe to go outside in the midst of a pandemic that has a 99% survival rate, the President reassured the American people that it is now safe to do something that was never actually dangerous in the first place.

The President made the announcement from the White House front lawn, outside and maskless, following his own orders.  He said,

Earlier today the CDC made an important announcement. Starting today, if you’re fully vaccinate, and you’re outdoors, and not in a big crowd, you no longer need to wear a mask.

Of course, the President gave the obligatory warning to the American people to continue wearing masks if in a crowd or in close proximity to others:

I want to be absolutely clear, if you’re in a crowd, like a stadium or a conference, or a concert, you still need to wear a mask. Even if you’re outside.

But he went on to conclude that the scientific data supports that fully vaccinated individuals can be outside without fear of contracting or spreading COVID-19.  And in another predictable move, Biden capitalized on the opportunity to laud the “benefits” of receiving the COVID-19 shot:

So, for those who haven’t gotten their vaccination, especially if you’re younger or thinking you don’t need it, this is another great reason to go get vaccinated.
