On Sunday January 26, 2020, future Hall of Fame basketball star Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in the mountains of Los Angeles.  All 9 passengers on board were killed in the accident, including Bryant’s 13 year-old daughter, Gianna.  The passengers were flying to a youth basketball tournament game at Bryant’s Mamba Sports Academy outside Los Angeles.  Bryant was supposed to coach his daughter’s game that morning.
