The charges come after FBI Director Christopher Wray told a U.S. Senate committee in November that he was “very concerned” about the presence of such stations in U.S. cities.

The church plans to appeal the decision, said Mariah Gondeiro, an attorney for the San Jose Calvary Chapel.

According to the hospital press release, since January 2022, there have been 30 infant deaths linked to unsafe sleep practices which include bedsharing as well as using blankets, pillows, and other fabrics. 

“Dadeville is just a very small community. It was just really difficult because everybody knows everybody and seeing people come through the emergency room that you know, was very difficult,” Smith said.
