Enes Kanter announces he will change his last name to ‘Freedom’

On Monday, Kanter backed his words with an extreme act. The Celtics’ center became a U.S. citizen on Monday, and as part of his continued campaign to fight for the freedom of those under harsh rule in China, he announced he is legally changing his last name to “Freedom.” He will now be known as Enes Kanter Freedom.
