“This New York Senate Bill would, presumptively, house mentally ill incarcerated men with mentally ill women … As with the laws and policies of many other jurisdictions, the provisions of this proposed New York Bill permit any inmate, at any time, making no modifications to their body or presentation, to claim a ‘gender identity’ which requires a correctional system to place them in cross-sex housing,” Amanda Stulman said.

Alex Lee, a Democratic politician in the Golden State, first put forth the bill last week, titled Wealth Tax: False Claims Act.

Yesterday, the Associated Press issued a report exploring how scientists are extremely concerned that the world is moving closer to an event that could wipe out human existence, with the popular metric known as the “Doomsday Clock.”

White evangelical Protestant parents (70%) and black Protestant parents (53%) were the only two groups where a majority said that it is “extremely or very important” that their children share their religious beliefs, while just 35% of Catholic parents and 8% of parents with no religious affiliation said the same.

According to a recent report from Barna, Americans are seeking to grow spiritually, despite a universal push to promote secularism and move away from Christianity in the United States.
