A new national library organization has formed to counter the woke American Library
Association, or ALA.
The World Library Association launched Monday and is open to public and school libraries. The association will also provide financial support to parents embroiled in legal battles over sexually explicit content within libraries.
Founder Dan Kleiman says his organization will counterbalance the ALA, which has pushed inappropriate books for decades. He says the “nationwide effect of the harm done to children with this inappropriate material is going to be huge.”
Kleiman added that he envisions a politically neutral association that creates model policies and training based on court cases
He said that the World Library Association will attract big conservative donors who want to help parents and communities.
The ALA has 50,000 members. Back in June, it announced it would spend at least $1 million taking parents to courts to protect explicit content in libraries.
