Speaking to the Senate Homeland Security Committee yesterday, FBI Director Christopher Wray said the risk of terrorism in the U.S. has greatly increased since the Hamas attacks in Israel.
At one point, Wray said the threat has risen to a “whole other level” and gave examples of the threats terror groups pose within our borders.
Wray’s testimony comes as the U.S. has seen a skyrocketing number of terrorist encounters at its borders. Yesterday, Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby was asked if the Biden administration worried that terrorists might be trying to exploit the border crisis.
It’s a concern shared by the American people as well with 3 out 4 saying they fear a terror attack since the Israel-Hamas war began, according to a recent Rasmussen poll.
