Things aren’t looking too good for Donald Trump as Sidney Powell, former lawyer to the former president, pleaded guilty earlier today to aiding Trump’s efforts to overturn his election defeat in Georgia.

Powell pleaded guilty to six counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with performance of election duties. She admitted to taking actions following the 2020 election “for the purpose of willfully tampering with electronic ballot markers and tabulating machines.” Her plea deal means she’ll be sentenced to six years of probation.

The guilty plea marks a major win for Fulton County DA Fani Willis, as Powell has also agreed to testify against President Trump and the other 16 co-defendants if called, which is likely.
