One group aimed at protecting Christians against persecution is telling the world to not forget about Armenians in the midst of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Joel Veldkamp of Christian Solidarity International sat down with CBN News to speak of the “ethnic cleansing” that is happening to this day in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Veldkamp detailed how it will take years for Armenians to get back on their feet and how this is nowhere near the end of this persecution.

Iran is now hosting foreign ministers from Armenia and Azerbaijan to discuss a possible peace agreement. But the two countries have fought two wars in the past 30 years and have thus far failed to reach a peace deal.

Veldkamp ended with a word of encouragement, saying how our hope is not in this world but in a “God who is faithful” and in “a new creation that is coming.”
