While Israelis frantically searched for loved ones and cried out in grief as they mourned the dead, a second shock came in the form of unmitigated antisemitism in the U.S., where lawmakers, media outlets, and college campuses expressed hatred for America’s longtime ally. 

“If you think what is happening in Israel is limited to Israel, think again,” the Rev. Franklin Graham warned.
