China is preparing for war with the U.S.; this is according to Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall, who made the comments while speaking at an Air and Space Forces Conference.

Today the intelligence couldn’t be clearer. Whatever its actual intentions may be I could not say, but China is preparing for a war and specifically for a war with the United States.

He also gave more details on CNBC Wednesday.

As noted by the Washington Free Beacon, Kendall’s comments come a month after Chinese President Xi Jinping told his military to step up its combat readiness.

Meanwhile, Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher warned this week current internal problems within China could lead to increased aggression toward Taiwan.
