It looks like baptisms are on the rise among college students. Just this week, hundreds of Auburn University students decided to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
On Tuesday, more than 5,000 students showed up to Unite Auburn’s “Night of Worship.” Guest speaker and author Jennie Allen wrote on Instagram that when one student expressed a desire to get baptized, she felt led to offer the opportunity to all the attendees. As a result, about 200 students were baptized in a lake on campus.
“People surrounded the lake until almost midnight hearing the stories of life change and shouting and cheering and praying together. God is moving and He isn’t stopping,” Allen said.
