It’s with heavy hearts that we report that Pastor and theologian Tim Keller is now home with the Lord. He passed away earlier today at the age of 72.
Keller has been battling pancreatic cancer since 2020. Just yesterday his family announced he was receiving hospice care after suffering complications from his recent cancer treatment.
He said this “I’m thankful for my family, that loves me. I’m thankful for the time God has given me, but I’m ready to see Jesus.”
He leaves behind a legacy of founding Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, as well as several bestselling books. The Christian post has referred to him as “one of the most influential pastors of the last several decades.”
