God works in mysterious ways. This past weekend may have marked one of the most mysterious and miraculous moves yet.
According to a tweet from worship leader Sean Feucht, “covert evangelists” who attended SatanCon 2023 were able to convert 98 people to dedicate their lives to Christ.
Feucht paired his claim with a video of a woman at SatanCon ripping pages out of the Bible and ended his tweet with #GodAlwaysWins.
While they were ripping up pages of the Bible to kick off the largest Satanic gathering ever (SatanCon in Boston), over 98 attendees surrendered their lives to Jesus (verified!) from covert evangelists infiltrating the crowd.#GodAlwaysWins pic.twitter.com/sx2NouTouq

Reporting by ChurchLeaders shows that this sold-out event was attended by hundreds of people. It marked the 10-year anniversary of The Satanic Temple, a non-theistic group that claims it does not actually worship Satan.
The gathering included events such as the “Satanic Ball,” a drag queen performance, and multiple panels speaking on topics varying from religious upbringings to transgenderism.
Despite Feucht’s remark on lives being changed by the Gospel, many Twitter users voiced their doubts. One of these naysayers was Dr. Eric Sprankle, who ChurchLeaders says led the talk on “Sins of the Flesh: Satanism and Self-Pleasure.”
“I presented at this conference and there were no ‘covert evangelists infiltrating the crowd,'” Dr. Sprankle said. “It’s easy to lie about converting 98 Satanists when your whole career is based in delusion and deception.”

Feucht responded by highlighting the word “covert” and saying he knows them. “They robbed hell and populated heaven,” Feucht added.
ChurchLeaders reached out to Feucht separately for clarification on his statements, and to verify the conversions at SatanCon. He responded by saying he “knows” the team that attended as covert evangelists.
“They’re friends of mine. And so when I say verified, that’s what I mean. Like this isn’t like hearsay. These are people that I know that I trust,” Feucht said.
“I want people to hear good news that in the midst of the largest satanic gathering in the world, that God is still moving and that light overcomes darkness every single time,” he added.
Feucht also commented on the Bible-shredding imagery that he mentioned in his tweet. He asked why this group of people felt the need to tear up the Bible if they don’t believe in it, to which he responded “it’s because they’re scared, and they should be because God is going to triumph.”
“Believers need to understand that we know the end of the story,” Feucht said. “We know God wins! And even in the midst of such darkness, covering the nation … that God is still working.”
