The FBI said a multi-day hostage situation in Texas, which began on March 21, has ended.
The FBI Houston office said an agent shot one now-deceased individual yesterday morning.
Waller County Sheriff’s Department initiated the standoff but later requested help. Multiple hostages were safely rescued and no agents were injured in the exchange.
The FBI gave an update with very little new details, citing ongoing investigations.
While the bureau and sheriff’s office have been tight-lipped, AP news reported that three migrants were kidnapped. Perpetrators held migrants in a hotel while demanding money from their families.
