Eighty years ago today Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, and 2,4003 lives were lost by those defending our freedom. The attack would thrust America into World War 2 and forever change the trajectory of the US and the world at large.
Today, FISM observes Pearl Harbor Day alongside service veterans and countless citizens across our great country. While the events of this day were tragic, it also unified the country in a way that can only be compared to the events of 9/11.
