The families of the victims and their attorneys reached a settlement on Monday regarding their lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and their failure to “act on tips about the gunman.”

The latest update from Las Vegas is that Ruggs, having paid the $150,000 bail payment to get out of jail, is now on house arrest with an alcohol monitor on his ankle at all times as he awaits his trial on December 16. Prosecutors are attempting to gain access to Ruggs’ previous medical records to prove that he still has a serious problem with alcohol addiction in an effort to bolster the case against him.
