The White House continues planning their fight against COVID-19 as the federal government recently revealed their plan to get the shot to kids ages 5 to 11 as soon as it is approved for emergency use.

Senate Republicans filibustered Democrat’s attempts to push a sweeping voting rights bill, called the Freedom to Vote act, on Wednesday. 51 Senators voted not to end debate, failing to reach the 60 votes needed to bring the bill to a final vote.
